I was given a precedent of the Corringham Apartment building, which featured a split level scissor section layout. I was prompted to implement communal spaces into the building, such as shared kitchens, gathering spaces, libraries, etc. I did this by utilizing the current outdoor staircase, enclosing it, and designing these spaces with the same scissor section layout.
